PRACTICAL INFORMATION - OSLO CONCERT HALL

ACCESS AND PARKING:

Train, subway, tram and bus: Nationaltheatret station (Ruseløkkveien exit) is just a short walk from the Concert Hall.

For schedules and travel planning, visit www.ruter.no and www.vy.no.

The parking garage beneath Oslo Concert Hall is open 24/7 (operated by Aimo Park). Additional street parking and parking garages are available nearby.

ARRIVE EARLY:

Concerts usually start on time. The foyer opens 1 hour before the performance begins, and the hall doors open about 30 minutes before the show.

FOOD & DRINKS:

Bars serving coffee, snacks, beer and wine open 1 hour before the concert and remain open during intermission when applicable. All bars are cash-free and use electronic payments only.

Please note: Drinks are not always allowed inside the concert hall. You can’t pre-order drinks, but you can reserve for intermission by ordering at the bar when you arrive. Please note that not all concerts include an intermission.

COAT STORAGE:

An open coat rack is available in the main foyer, where you may leave your outerwear at your own risk. While coat check is not mandatory, we encourage guests to hang up coats before entering the hall. For lost items, please contact our reception at +47 23 11 31 00 or res@okh.no.

TICKETS & SHOWTIME:

You can buy tickets directly here on our website or at our ticket office by the main entrance, which opens 2 hours before concert start. Gift cards are available online [HERE]. Doors to the foyer open 1 hour before, and doors to the hall open 30 minutes before the concert begins.

CHILDREN & FAMILY SHOWS:

Some children’s and family shows have age recommendations. Due to fire regulations, everyone – including infants – must have a valid ticket.

PHOTOS & MOBILE USE:

Photography and filming are generally not allowed during performances. Please respect those around you and enjoy the concert screen-free. Thank you for helping create a great experience for everyone!

Accessibility for All Guests

If you use a wheelchair or have reduced mobility, elevators are available from the main foyer to all levels. These have a door width of 80 cm and depth of 100 cm, which may not fit larger wheelchairs. For larger electric wheelchairs, use the elevator near the main entrance to access Glasshuset and the Main Hall (Store sal). Please arrive early and ask an usher for assistance.

Wheelchair Spaces in the Halls

Store Sal has designated wheelchair spaces on rows 20 and 21. Larger electric chairs must use row 21. Note: the floor slopes slightly here – apply the brakes.

Lille Sal is accessible from the entrance level and has wheelchair spaces located front right by the stage.

Hearing Support

The Main Hall is equipped with a hearing loop system, most effective in rows 8–14. Set your hearing aid to the T position. Please note: there is no hearing loop in rows 21–36 or in Lille Sal.

Arriving by Car

Visitors with limited mobility may use the stage and office entrance to access the foyer via elevator. Contact the front desk upon arrival. We recommend arriving early, as elevator capacity is limited. Parking is available in the underground garage at Munkedamsveien 14. All spaces, including accessible parking, are subject to a fee.
